Lifan LF 250 workshop manual

Hi all!
I recently bough second hand Lifan LF 250 (not American Lifan - my manufactured in Russia). 2007 year model with 100 miles.
And i have problem with gear shifting (can't shift on any except first and neutral) .
So, does any one have workshop manual for it?
I can get a workshop manual for Yamaha XV250. Is it compatible with my Lifan or not?

I have never heard of a Lifan made anywhere other than China.  Not to say they aren't, I just  never heard of one.  If it is an LF250, then yes the Yamaha manual should be at the very least close.  No doubt something is hanging up in the gear box.  You might just have to pull the case off and take a peak.

In Russia there is a "Zid-Lifan" trade mark.
All parts for bikes  and ATV comes from China, and only assembly work performing here.

Resurrecting: I've found a Yamaha XV250 manual online.  Doubtless there are others out there.

The good news is that most of it looks like it'll apply to the Lifan.

Hi I own a lifan lf250 (got it for 100$$ )  engine running excellent but transmission had a bad noise pull apart the entire engine and found the 5 23t gear shater in 3 pieces wondering if the virago 250 trans will be direct fit for it

I think, you own a lifan 250-4. This bike is produced and sold by an uncountable number of names. But it is always the same 253FMM-engine.

I suppose ther is no workshop-manual for this bike. But the Lifan 250-4 is a replika of the honda CMX-250 Rebel. For this bike, you can find workshop-manuals in www.
