Chit Chat / lifan for trips?

I am trying to find a good bike for use on the highway on fairly short trips(2-4 hours) but price is a very large object in my way. I thought that if lifan had a 400cc sportbike it could work, but the LF400 would get burned up trying to run 70 for too long. any ideas or suggestions?
