This seller is in my home State. This makes him a potential seller that I might consider.

Has any member here had any dealings with them ? any info at all would be appreciated.

Hi Lardie. Thanks for the pic's and info. From the pricing it looks like your from the U.K.?

I havent seen one with the aluminum wheels yet.

I'm in the U.S.A. but have a two friends in England.  And also a Canadian friend that came from England recently. I look forward to meeting  up with him in Canada this summer where we both vacation. He has a most excellent accent that I find very enjoyable!

You can possibly repair the fairing from the inside. If the cracking is underneath then the outside of the repair won't be seen . A repair in other areas may require you to have the piece repainted. Since its a smaller piece down on the bike a color change might not be noticeable.

The correct repair product to use is ABS glue made by Oatly #30999 its thick and black in color. It's very hard to find and usually only available at a good plumbing supply house. No matter what you hear do not except any substitute!

Hope this info helps. Buyingchina

Hi all. So far no luck finding a LF 250 in my area. I did find a 06 year but i'm told the 08 is mostly redesigned. I am calling another dealer tomorrow to see what they have in stock. Oh, and "Honeys" coming around on her own!.

Chit Chat / Need carburetor info. China bike 200cc Lifan motors
« on: March 22, 2008, 11:15:34 AM »
Hi Guys. My Lifan built LF200-III sports bike came with a Sheng Wey PD2 Carburetor.

If yours is different (carburetor) than would you please post the brand and model info.

I'm doing research (for other brand carbs) to come up with tuning info and replacement parts sources that might benefit other members and myself.

Thanks. Buyingchina :)

LF200 / Re: 200 III and 200b parts Interchangeability?
« on: March 20, 2008, 02:00:11 PM »
Do we know of any parts interchageability between these china bikes and thier honda counterparts?  I have heard the dual sports have some common sprockets with the older honda's.
Are we talking clearance issues of why those sprockets dont fit on the LF200III or just different designs?  I'm hoping i won't have to rely on imported parts due to their track record of durability or at least percieved track record as i have no real experience to say one way or the other.
The Honda approach research has not worked for me. But most of the important stuff is all the same from one China bike to another, and if you can get parts for any one, than the brand label doesn't really matter.l

Good work  providing that info! (Longbo)

The front sprockets are avaiable from JT Sprokets , but a larger one presents a fit problem.

The best and least expensive  approach is to convert to 428 H sprockets and chain. This will allow a lot of choices by having extra inexpensive front sprockets on hand. Fronts are about $8 and rears are about $19 I think.

Are you having a problem with the 520 chain stock  2.86 ratio?

Hi . Yes its branded as, or the final assembly is Lonbo, but I called and was told that the motor is built by Lifan.

From the photos it looks like the other visible parts are identical to my GRX branded Lf 200.

The seller appears to be small time but many including myself have bought his V4S sport atv and found him to be a stand up guy.

I am not saying that anyone should buy from him. I just wanted to mention this bike because of its features and the fact that its only  $50. more than a LF200.

The lack of information may be that the sellers customers are not being provided by forum information and posting. The first link I provided is not claimed to ba a"B", but the link bellow may be similar to a "B". Oh, the "6 speed" is a typo. A lot of sellers have been found doing this. ;D

The idea of a drum to disc conversion sounds like a good one. Its something I would like to try

If you have a source for these parts please post this info.

There are quit a few "mods" that are regularly suggested, and a few inexpensive "improvements" are a good idea.

But, for a few hundred more or so, a bike that does not have most of these deficiencies can be bought.

Heres just one of many

Also, there are bikes similar to "B's'"that can be bought for $1500. to $1600. thay are regularly seen on E-bay.

Where is the best place to order the tire I have looked on ebay their selection is pretty limited

You can just "Google" ( Motorcycle Tires ) and window shop internet style!

HI. Probably a 90/100-18, The original is a 3.00 -18 or a 80/100-18.

This is without modifying or removing the fender.

Hi. My 140/70-18 is tube less and was installed without a tube.

However, a tube can be used but serves no purpose under normal conditions.

Some times a tube is used as a method to continue to use a tire that was punctured, and a plug repair is not working correctly.

The only way is with plug chops. You have to run the bike at 3 to 4 throttle positions, and read the plug each time in those individual positions, and make all of your adjustment based on those readings. The air screw in the very front, The jet needle clip position and,  the main jet size.

Its a lot of info, so I will Pm you.

I received my bike today. It is the TMS version and it is black. Rabbit told me they did not have black so they were sending green. I got black, that is great. Everything was in good shape!

Glad to here it! Please let us know how the assembly and set up go, and feel free to ask for help if needed

Thanks, Buyingchina ;D
