Chit Chat / Re: Coil Lifan 200

Hi joford,

I belive the coil is 12v. I had some problems with the coil when my bike was new. Every now and then the bike would die. It turned out that it was just the cable shoe connector that were loose.

Hope that helps...  :)

Here is a link to a UK dealer who has loads of spareparts:

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/CHINESE-BIKE-SPARES_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZQ2d1QQfsubZQ2d999QQftidZ2QQtZkm

Many parts are the same on different named brands. The Lifan sportsbike is 95% identical to LX200, GRX200, Skyjet 200 and many more.

Hope that helps you...

Chit Chat / Re: Vibration issue after 1000 km

... and I thought I would see what happens when the clutch is pulled in at about 45 miles per hour...what do you know? The vibration disappeared. This tells me that the tires or rims are not to blame. Right?

Probably, but not necessarily. When you pull the clutch you also take away the tension from the chain and from the rear hub. Check that there is no freeplay in the rear swingarm, wheel and hub. If it's all tight I guess it most be an engine problem.

Oh, one more thing. I had this annoying vibration thing for almost a year. I check all motor bolts again and again. But on close inspection i found that one of the mounts had a fine line in it. When I removed the bolt, the mount fell off! After welding it back on vibrations were all gone.

I am open to suggestions for the forum so let me know what you all would like to see.

It would be awesome if you made a "how to" section like the one at lifan-moto.com. I'd be happy to contribute to that.
