Title: on a mission
Post by: cbp on February 23, 2008, 06:46:21 PM
Howdy:  Noob here with lots of experience with USA bikes.  New to China bikes.

Been trying to get to the bottom of a lil mystery bike I like a lot.

I thought it to be a Lifan CP200 That is marketed as a chopper, sort of.

Same with the LF250CR???  Any leads or ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanx
CB

The Lifan CP200 is actually a small bike... not really big enough for adults.  (It's a 2/3 size bike.)

The LF250CR is a cruiser bike that is almost a direct copy of the Yamaha Virago 250.

T-Motorsports offers both bikes for sale.  (http://www.t-motorsports.com)

I have an LF250 and just absolutely love it.  I actually had an owner of a real Virago 250 tell me how much better he thought mmine looked.  He liked to died when I told him that I paid $1,425.00 for it brand new. :)  I don't know anything about the CP 200 but I think it's made in the U.S. and powered by the Lifan V-Twin 250.?????
