HI Guys. I,m so fed up with my LF200iii being DOA that I'm seriously considering buying at least one other bike.
A) 200/250cc dual sport
B) 250 cruiser
C) 200cc sport (not another 200iii)
I would like to start getting info based on member experiences.

Buyingchina,
I can only attest to the LF250. My wife bought it for me as a surprise Christmas gift fom an American Lifan dealer who was very motivated to sell in November of last year. She negotiated them down to $1,425.00 and they had to deliver it. It included the crash bar and windshield.
It is a great ride, unfortunately though, the stinkin' weather here in S.W.Ohio won't allow me to ride much. I have put 243 trouble free miles on it though and I just love it. It runs great, rides and handles well, and I am really impressed with the acceleration and stopping. I managed to take it out last Thursday and yesterday and today it has snowed like hell here to the tune of 10.5 inches and it's not done yet. I can't wait till spring. There are pics of it in the "Pictures and Video" section of this forum.

Hi Jim. What are the differences bettween a GY5 and a GY6? I don't know much about them but they sure look nice.
Sounds like your from Canada! :) I spend about 2 to 3 month's in B. Bay Ontario where I have a summer resort.

Wow! Are those being sold anywhere near here Almonpoole? If they are reliable, then that is serious competition for the KLR650.
-
In a few months Rabbit will carry a bike named the grx400 which is a smaller displacement liquid cooled version of this bike. I'm not sure about the 600cc but with as much advertising as I have seen I would think someone must sell them in the U.S.??? But I would not know who.

Here is a link to a LA Times review of the JH600. Not all bad.

Hi guys. Why is this thread being hijacked and taken off topic?
New topicic= New thread.
Thank you. Buyingchina :)

I think it is a good bike overall. Most people doing reviews here in the U.S. start with a little attitude when China bikes are concerned. The price point vs value in a China bike is very high compared to their Japanese counterparts.
The 'attitude' is because of the quality difference between Japanese vs Chinese bikes currently. However, every year China bikes get better and better so soon we will start seeing larger displacement sport bikes replacing the old 200cc and 250cc China bikes we have grown to love :).

Also look here, the carbon/black/grey bike is a Tank Xi 350 soon to be available and the big yellow bike is a version of the 600cc but in a 400cc price point.

I think a 400 would have a better chance of selling well in the US than the 600 anyway. Less... wait, no competition. The klr600 has such a cult following it would be hard to win that market.
-
I know and I agree, I think the 600 is a good bike only for the price really if comparing it to one of the majors, but I think as they make the bike better and better it would do well here but it will always be a price decision at least until the quality is on par and they create their own cult. :)

Don't worry, only feeble minded people such as yourself need to be steered in some direction ;D, the rest of us can make our own mind up about what we buy and what we discuss.
