I do offer a discount for people with lifan bikes by using the following code at checkout: lifanmo1

Awsome, that is very generous!

Have any pics of your bike?  Looking forward to seeing the mods.

Nice url btw!

Hi Vegas,

Might want to post the question here...
http://www.americanlifan.com/lifan3/customer/

That is American Lifan's official forum.

Please let us know what they say.

Man, what a nightmare.  Hope everything comes together OK.  Outages are a huge pain when you can't do much about it.

Really sorry to hear that.  Glad you are not too banged up.

Have you priced out Lifan parts through your dealer?

I hope someone around here can answer your question.  Also, search http://groups.yahoo.com for "lifan" and check in with www.lifan-moto.com.  Also, http://www.chinariders.net/ might have some answers.  American Lifan has a forum http://www.americanlifan.com/lifan3/customer/ but they probably won't give you Honda part numbers :D  But might as well ask them for Lifan parts sources.

I hate to send you away.  Please come back and let us know how it goes!  Good luck on the rehab of the bike and the shoulder.

« on: May 07, 2008, 11:12:03 AM »
Hey tsnunamimike, have you tried sitting on one yet?  That should tell you if your height is not gonna work.  Have a chat with your local dealer.  I wish I could give you a better answer.  320 is a good amount of mussle ;) to be carrying on a 250 but i have a hunch it will pull you.  Just not to fast.

If you are not gonna ride it very far or fast it might be fine.  If you hit a road irregularity at speed while turning might be bad if your maxing out the suspension.  More of a safety thing.  Are you staying off highways?

Hey Eric, welcome to the site!  Sorry i did not see your post sooner.

Lifan Moto has been around for a while and Almon the members there have put together a great resource.

LifanForum is always a work in progress.  Everyone is welcome.  Anything you want to see that might make it more attractive, besides visitors :D

Anyway, I like lifan bikes for what they are.  I am sick of what the big 4 have to offer and I am very excited that companies like Lifan are stepping up to give people some options.  LF200-B is a cool bike.  Aftermarket will come as soon as there are enough buyers to support it.  It is a good business oppertunity if you have the tools and knowhow to build some aftermarket parts for the bikes.

Oh, and feel free to chat about any bikes that sound cool to you.  I am interested in all of them.  Even honda sometimes.  ::)

same thing will happen on my drz400s.  Get a battery tender.  It will save you money in the long run.  Google "battery tender".

This is not an uncommon practice on the web.  It is great for a business because it creates a perception of a saturated market.  And also more chances to rank on google.

Google will get wise to it eventually.  Hopefully it is being done in a way that does not break google's guidlines or there could be penalties to those sites.
