I look at the forum every couple of days, but there doesn't seem to be much else happening. I modified the chrome speedo
surround and put a grommet and mounted reset switch on the left hand side of speedo.

after no reply from emails to Lifan in China or New Zealand, I took it upon myself to work this out. I removed the speedo unit, and to my amazement, there is a reset switch tucked up under the chrome housing, push the switch and sure enough, trip meter resets. Just have to drill small hole in housing, mount switch, and put some type of water proof gomeet to stop water/moisture entering.

Hi there, I recently purchased  a new 2009 LF250 that has a digital odometer and trip meter. Does any one know how to reset the trip meter, so that I can gauge my fuel usage, I can find it anywhere, even the dealer has no idea...
