I dont like any thing thats not engined swapped. I engine swapped a honda trx400ex using a yamaha yz426 dirt bike engine built for national racing so it had a over $2000 put into engine parts n was 444cc 14:1 comp needing high oct gas. Engine put out low-mid 50s with the top rpm. I started parting out the quad. Engine was sitting around so put it in the lifan. Power went from 16hp to mid 50s with about 70hp at the crank.






Heres some ones stock 426. Mine had $2000  into the engine. Mine was alot louder to cause it had a solid core exhaust so there was nothing to quiet it down.

Here was the my race quad the engine came out of which b4 that the engine was in the dirt bike. This quad had over $10k put into itnothing was stock looks like 2 differant quads only way to see its the same quad is by the shape of seat and frame shape.

That engine is pretty much a bolt in engine but reason why is because honda 200x or honda xr200 is what the lifan 200 is.

drag pipe/ straight pipe just run no muffler. Thats basicaly drag. But you will need to rejet or you will run lean. A drag pipe or upgraded muffler wont do any more than make it louder any ways because the engines only a 200.

If the bike dont have enough power for the gearing or weight a engine wont fully rev out. I remember 5th gear top speed rpm was a thousand or 2 lower than 1st gear top rpm due to not having enough power. See how high it revs in nutrual. Thats how high it should be able to hit in at least 1st/2nd gear.

If you geared it taller for higher top speed that will cause your rpms to not go as high as they could because lack of power to pull that gearing. Stock gearing the bike cant even fully pull 5th gear out. And the rev limiter says to 12,000rpm thats just for show that engine is not capable of reving that high its top rpm is only around 7000-8000 I cant remember because after all they use a cloned honda xr200 dirt bike engine.

Heres what I did for a filter. I had an extra honda trx400ex k&n filter laying around from my race quad so I just removed the air box on the lifan and ran that filter. I cant remember if I made a rubber boot for it or if I just duck taped it to the air boot but it worked. But remember if you change the intake or muffler you need to rejet or you will go lean.


For the exhaust I just pulled the inside out of my muffler. So it was all hollow just the canister. Then I put a 2" flex pipe inside it to make it work just like a aftermarket exhaust.


Or you could do what I did last. Ripped the engine out and since I build race quads I had a yamaha yz426 engine that was built for national racing and put that in the bike making it the worlds fastest lifan lf200 50+hp vs16hp stock!

Lifan 200 part out. I only put 100 miles on it. Only thing sold is all elec and engine/carb. Frame cant be used because I put a 52hp yz426/444 engine in it. Was the worlds fastest lifan lf200 till I sold that engine to (first pic). getdrunk1990@yahoo.com

So every things for sale other than engine,elec,carb, throttle, and frame.
