LF200 / Rear Hubs
« on: March 04, 2008, 09:03:00 AM »
Apparently I am pretty much one of the only people that has this problem but I have broken 3 rear hubs in the two years that I have had my bike and well im looking at getting a spare hub and having it copied in either billet or standard aircraft quality aluminum. If I do this it will probably be made on a C&C mill and they will have a computer record of the design so I should be able to have as many copies as I want made, so would anyone else out there be interested in a stronger hub? Btw Ikyblk you will probably need one with that turbo bike because if im breakin hubs on 18 or 19 horsepower then your pretty much f***ed lol.

Chit Chat / Other Chinese Motorcycles
« on: March 03, 2008, 07:00:59 AM »
I have been doing some research on some of the other chinese motorcycles and I am pretty impressed with what I am seeing and the future is looking bright. So far Tank and Zongshen seem to be ones to look out for considering Tank is comming out with larger displacment street bikes which will be much better for American riders who use highways to get around more than small city streets. Also I think Zongshen could be a big player in the future considering that if they have a Moto GP team then they should have the engineres there to make some realy outstanding bikes in the future. Also its goods to see that Lifan is introducing a 400cc cruiser and maybe a 400cc LF model. But I think in 5 years time people wont be laughing at the idea of a chinese motorcycle and acually start accepting them as part of the motorcycling community.

LF200 / Problems
« on: February 27, 2008, 12:02:57 PM »
I figured that I would make this poll to see what problems others are having and if we can figure out a better solution that just replacing bad parts with bad parts. My personal biggest problem is rear hubs, my third one just broke on me the other day and the cause apears to just be the spacers breaking apart from the twisting force on the hub from the sprocket.

LF200 / Chain Guard
« on: February 24, 2008, 08:54:10 AM »
I pulled off my cover to check out my front sprocket the other day and I noticed a lot of metal shavings in the cover, so I looked around and saw that apparently my chain has been grinding on the chain guard that the stator wiring goes behind. Has anyone else had this problem before?
