Title: Lifan 250-4 fuel gauge
Post by: Cardillac on May 01, 2013, 09:43:58 AM
I ride a Lifan 250-4 (parallel-twin). In Germany, this bike is very rare. I have problems with the fuel gauge. When I turn on the ignition, I see two red lights below. In addition, there are three green lights that disappear after a short time. It makes no difference whether the fuel tank is full or empty. I have removed the fuel tank and the electrical connections checked. The plugs and cable seem to be in order.

What is the cause of the error. Does anyone any advice?

Don't worry about this, in every model of this Chinese brands have the same problem, mine too. I mean the Fuel Tank Level Sensor it is not accurate at all. That is why I have (and I believe that your bike has too) "3-modes" "ON, OFF and RES"
