Title: My Lifan 150 Cruiser
Post by: TomG on February 16, 2010, 07:06:32 PM
About a year ago, I did a post of the performance of my Lifan. Well, now it has on it, just a little over 4000 kms and it runs very well. Since then (last year), I have taken it out on quite a few long trips to the south and now ride it daily to work. The only major really problem now is the rust, since I live in the most heavily concentrated salt areas in the world, I swear. The entire front end and exhaust pipes are rusting away. There has to be a way of stopping it, without costing me a fortune in the process. A friend mention, having it done in stainless steel, what do you guys think?

Do you still have your 150? I ask because I bought one identical to yours in the Philippines and after a long absence finally got it in the states, minus the engine. I have a few questions to ask to jar my memory.

Thanks,

Bill
